The Green Apple Project is a volunteer organization that basically knocks on people’s doors to tell them about ConEd Green Solutions, a program that allows them to convert their home energy supply from the polluting coal-based kind to the clean, happy, friendly, windmill/water renewable type. First, the good news:

It’s clean and 100% renewable. GREEN Power is composed of 65% run-of-the-river hydro and 35% wind power. WIND Power is composed of 100% wind power.
